Stay Connected With Live Streaming Classes Beginning Monday, March 23

How to Join Hot Yoga Houston Live Streaming Classes
We would love to “see” in class, and thanks to technology, we can! You can also stay connected to your favorite Hot Yoga Houston teachers during this time. Here’s how we can stay together and you can maintain your practice:
1. Sign in to Mind Body or the Hot Yoga Houston app (FREE for download on Apple and Android devices; if you’ve already downloaded the app and it’s not working, check for updates). (Please reset the password on your account if you’ve forgotten it; this prevents duplicate accounts from being created. Also check the email that is attached to your active Mind Body account.)
2. Book your class. You’ll receive an email confirmation that you’ve registered.
3. Watch for an email sent 30 minutes before class begins for follow-up information with a Zoom link to access it.
4. If you sign up for class after that 30-minute window, another email will be sent 5 minutes before class begins.
5. Log in to Zoom any time within the 30-minute window before the class starts. (Give yourself time to download Zoom if needed.)
6. If you have any issues signing up for class, please email support@hotyogahouston.com so your account can be updated if needed.
7. Have a great class!
How to Prepare for Your Live Streaming Classes
 
Please be mindful that practicing at home will be much different from practicing at the school. You’ll see and feel the difference! But keep these tips in mind so you get the most benefit despite this significant difference.
1. If possible, practice in front of a mirror. It will help with your alignment and focus just like it does in the hot room!
2. You can also use a heater if it’s available.
3. Wear a long-sleeved shirt and leggings, as these will help you generate more body heat as well.
4. Before class begins, do a one-minute plank to fire up all of the muscle in your body and build even more heat to warm you up for class!
5. Without the heat, you will not be able to access the depth of each pose that you’re used to. That’s OK! This is a great opportunity to pay more attention to your alignment, your breath and your stillness.
