I had read Autobiography of a Yogi in high school, and took my first yoga class in 1978.  In 2006 I decided to try out this yoga and have been practicing ever since.  I was a computer professional for many years, but in 2012 it was time to make a change and I became a yoga teacher.  I love to teach because of the extraordinary opportunity it gives me to observe the changes happening in the lives of everyone who gives it a serious try.  The optimism I gain feeds back and encourages me in my own practice.   This yoga saves lives, and becoming a teacher was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

John’s 6 Word Autobiography:

Persistently optimistic; open heart, open mind.
