I took my first yoga class in Austin, Texas in 2004, was in love by the end of pranayama, and haven’t stopped since. In 2009, I decided to start teaching after coming to the realization that an English literature degree wasn’t going to satisfy my aspirations. I have taught in studios across California, Utah, and Texas and I love that each studio is unique, yet all have one thing in common: they provide a safe space for individuals to explore and improve upon who they truly are. Yoga is not just something I practice in a hot room, it’s something I live every day regardless of where I am or what I’m doing. My goal as a teacher is to inspire others to do the same.
